How we operate
Through the Edgeucation Corporation’s own Research and Development, as well as by receiving constant feedback from our clients, we conceptualise training interventions that are relevant, current and comprehensive.
Material development takes place in one of two ways: Together with the “Gurus” we develop the material or through local and international agencies we buy the rights to host a particular course, relevant to the South African situation.
Our Training Philosophy
Each topic is researched to identify only the most critical principles that are easily learnt, immediately implementable, effortlessly measured and yet have the most significant impact on the immediate work environment.
In support of this philosophy we exclusively employ the services expert facilitators and utilise relevant, current and straightforward material.

Transformation
The Edgeucation Corporation unequivocally states its commitment towards the transformation process in South Africa. We do not see ourselves as functioning in isolation, but rather as an integral part of a greater structure that should constructively work towards ensuring a fulfilling life for all South African citizens. We endeavour to forge partnerships with Black Economically Empowered companies and also within our own structure create the opportunity for Historically Disadvantaged Individuals to grow and develop into competent leaders in the industry.
The principles of transformation are embedded in our culture and management and staff alike are encouraged to continuously seek and develop opportunities to contribute towards this important cause. Currently, the company is moving forwards on the transformation path, working towards total compliance with BBBEE regulations, and completing its BEE scorecard to ensure that Historically Disadvantaged Individuals, people with disabilities and women are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the company. We seek Joint Ventures, affiliations and partnerships with companies that are also committed to the ideals of transformation in South Africa.
Community Involvement
We recognise and embrace the responsibility to contribute towards the upliftment and development of individuals as well as society as a whole. We are touched by the plight of local communities that face the hardships of poverty, unemployment, crime and violence. In lieu of this we commit our resources to alleviating these situations and provide an alternative. We also forge mutually beneficial relationships with other business entities and strategically provide a direction and focus for worthwhile community development efforts.
Our Community Involvement projects that forms part of the company’s activities aims in the long term to benefit community development in SA by establishing long-term partnerships with NGOs that are actively involved in this type of work. The structure of these partnerships can involve any of the following:
- Training initiatives.
- Financial Assistance
- Assistance with other essential resources.
- Volunteer work.
- Promoting the NGO cause through linking with the network’s marketing and publicity campaigns.
Skills Transfer, Development and Learnerships
Skills transfer and development is more than our duty or responsibility, it is something we feel passionate about. The Edgeucation Corporation wants to be a solution provider that produces life long learners that can effectively and willingly contribute towards the overall development of the country.
The aim of Learnership is to supply individuals with a work-based route to nationally recognised qualifications on the NQF. In this regard, the Edgeucation Corporation aims to use Learnerships to give individuals the opportunity to develop their work-based skills completely and effectively.
We specifically focus on recruiting and developing individuals to become competent and fully qualified skills development facilitators through our Learnership programmes.
We aspire to assist other organisations and small businesses to grow and ultimately, in their turn, be able to do the same.
